I’m Fabi Yamada, a multidisciplinary designer from Hermosillo, Mexico. I design brands, build websites, edit video, model in 3D and experiment with AR and AI — very often all within the same project.
Where it started
I was designing websites, logos and ads for my own and school projects long before anyone paid me to. That curiosity took me to a degree in Graphic Design at Universidad del Valle de México, where I trained in editorial, brand and web design.
I never stopped adding tools: video editing, photography, motion graphics, 3D modelling and animation, augmented reality and, more recently, artificial intelligence. Each one made the others more useful.
What I do
- Brand identity, art direction and creative direction
- Web design and front-end development
- Print, digital and social media advertising
- Video editing, motion graphics and photography
- 3D modelling and animation, AR filters and web games
- Digital illustration and digital art
A few highlights
- A financial services website I designed and built front to back received the AMIPCI Award 2012 in its category.
- I have created complete corporate identities and led design teams as art director.
- I designed and developed a brand website complete with online games and Instagram AR filters.
- For a financial firm, I planned and ran digital campaigns, produced video content, built the website and designed new ways for brokers and partners to get in touch.
- My digital art has been part of collaborative projects with Mexican crypto artists, including the Tzompantli exhibition at NFT Factory, Paris (2023).
Why independent
I work directly with founders, brands and teams, without agency layers. One person from the first sketch to launch means faster decisions, nothing lost between departments, and a result that holds together — brand, website and content speaking the same language.
Beyond client work
I also create content and digital products for creators — tools, prompts and tutorials, all tested in my own production work. You’ll find them in the Lab.
